Once you have opened your nursery there are a number of NDNA services that will support you to manage your nursery business, develop your workforce and deliver high-quality early learning and care.

  • Membership - if you joined as an individual member when starting your nursery, your membership can now be upgraded. Full membership of NDNA will give you access to more benefits and a number of ways to promote your nursery. All you need to do is pay the difference between the individual rate and the nursery rate.   • Quality improvement - to ensure that your nursery provides the highest level of childcare and business practices, find out about our e-Quality Counts scheme. This is the national online quality improvement scheme for nurseries. It supports with self evaluation and development across the entire nursery.   • Quality Improvement Programmes - 15 individual online programmes which allow you to concentrate on specific areas for improvement. including recruitment and retention, working with babies, safeguarding and child protection and nutrition.   • Training - we offer a range of online training courses (e-CPD) to help you and your staff learn more about nursery management and childcare practice. With prices starting from £40 + VAT they are cost-effective, convenient and easy to use. View our e-CPD courses.
  • Publications - NDNA's 'your essential guide to...' series covers key topics for running a nursery, including marketing, leadership and management, inclusive practice, recruitment and selection, policies and procedures, nutrition and NDNA's nursery cookbook.
